Don’t Let Congress Defund Planned Parenthood!
Every year 2.7 million women and men rely on the wide range of health services the organization provides, including birth control, cervical cancer screenings, and STD testing and treatment.
Planned Parenthood is the only source of these services for many uninsured and under-insured people, especially for poor women and women of color. At risk is $540 million which would be stripped from Planned Parenthood if the bill passes the House and Senate.
…Yet a politically-motivated bill in the Senate threatens to defundPlanned Parenthood’s critical services.
